8.8 from a 97 GT?
Hey guys, found an 8.8 from a 97 GT with 3.73s for 300.
1-Do you think it would be compatible, or should i stick to new edges? 2-Do yall think its a good price? Tyler

Yes it's compatible and will bolt right up. I don't quite remember which way it goes but new edge rear ends are either longer or shorter by 3/4" on each side compared to the sn95 models. And thats a fair price as long as it's in good shape. I paid 400 for mine.

Ya the new egdes are a wider rearend so your wheels will be set in 3/4" on each side if you put a diff in from a sn95. It'll work either way tho.
