302 in a v6


I wanna switch out my v6 and put a 302 in i know i will have to change my transmition but u was wondering what else i would have to do, and how expensive it may get to do it

it depends on if you go carb or fuel injected. carb it would be a lot easier but it would still involve a lot of work. you need to figure out all of the wiring make all the pieces fit. there is not a kit or anything that i know of. you would need an 8.8 and a new tranny. i mean if your going to build a 347 stroker it may be worth it, or a f/i 302, but otherwise i would not do it. it is a lot of work unless your building a strip/street car.
