Rear axle HELP!!
Ok well i am gettin a 96 v6 here in a few days and well i dont want no one tire fire. I am going to head to the junkyards and find me some 7.5 rear end out of a ranger or somen with posi for the s clip. My question is would a 8.8 rear end s clip work in the 7.5 carrier.
Thanks |

Even if you do find a 7.5 t lok ranger, the s clip isn't going to do you any good without the clutch packs.
You need a whole carrier and if it's from a junk yard I would suggest you get a rebuild kit for the clutches. |

That doesn't seem too bad but remember if you're not able to do it yourself you have to pay for install.
Plus you'll need a bearing kit. |
