bell housing on my v6 3.8 needs to match a 4.6 or 5.0 for swap

Im going to be swaping my engine with either a V8 4.6 cobra or a 5.0 GT. Does any one have any idea if my bell housing as. with the tranny will match ither one of these engines. Any thoughts on if this is a good idea, not ? alternatives.

there is no swapable bell housing...
you'll need a 4.6 tranny...or actually you'd need to pick a motor first since both have different bolt patterns

the 3.8 bell will work on the 5.0 or 351w blocks. However it wont work on a 4.6.
