Shelby0767 Newbie Join Date: Feb 2007 Location: St. Paul, MN Posts: 40	The biggest reason I shy away from GT catbacks is because I don't have the GT rear bumper, but I'm assuming that the shop will be able to work around that problem. I found a great deal on a h-pipe for my car ($100), so now its just a matter of catback. I'm kinda bouncing between macs and flowmaster. I've heard flowmaster has some drone problems, and mac has some rusting problems (only on aluminized catback though). I found two different sellers of the same cat-back, but one is labeled for a v6 w/ h-pipe, and the other is labeled for the GT of the same year as my car. Are they the same system with the exception of the exhaust tips, or will the v6 w/ h-pipe version fit better than the GT version? DaemonJ Enthusiast Join Date: Jan 2007 Location: Cookeville, TN Posts: 531	I've probably posted this about 40 times on the forum now and I apologize for it but since it is relevant - my local shop is giving me true dual exhaust (no y-pipe but pipes from each header) with a crossover (x-pipe) and Flowmaster 40s for $200. That is about $300 less than most catback systems alone not counting their installation. I am however considering using Borla Pro XS mufflers instead of the Flowmasters though.

Quieter hwy driving and a different sound than everyone else. I haven't decided yet as my local shop is checking to see what price they can get the Borlas for.
