v8 swap?
ok so i have an 06' v6 stang 5spd, right now all i have is cai and true dual exhaust, i was thinking about just putting in a v8 because i could spend alot of money and boost my v6 but i would get more horsepower out of a v8 cause well i could boost that too, no replacement for displacement! i didnt have a choice on the car if i did i would have gotten a v8 in the first place but any input or help would be much appretiated

you will have to change so much out of the car it would be better to just buy a gt...
and just so you know, a vortech supercharger kit at 4.4 psi will put you at approx the same hp as a GT of the same year, and you will be faster due to less weight. and thats on an untuned 4.4 psi. you can well up the psi to 9 or get a turbo and be even faster. dont count out the v6 just because its got 2 less cylinders.

with all the stuff you will have to change, you will end up losing money in the long run trying to put a V8 in your car. you should just sell it and get a GT ...........or you can go F/I or boost it and have fun with it too.

Bawhaha, a 4.4psi vortech won't get you anywhere close to a GT, and how in the world do you get 4.4 psi from a vortech?!

i dont know how much hp i want out of it just yet i might just end up keeping the v6, ive seen 440 hp with a stock bottom end, stage 3 heads and cams and a porcharger if i could break into the mid/upper 300s (hp) i would be happy with that, but from what i read ill just build the v6 and later in life get a v8

cai, long tubes, procharger 11psi kit, exhaust. or turbo kit, exhaust. *of course you need fuel mods and such*
