you should be able to get to it from under your car, it was a tight fit when i installed mine, you done have to take off the wheel or anything

there is a hole where your old intake went. i you want to change it just take off the pipe that connect to the MAF.

I have a MAC intake...and that filter can be a problem being wide....you just need to get under the car and stretch armstrong to bolt the clamp on the intake to the pipe...I did it at nite so it didnt help me out but I made sure the rest of the piping was set the way it should be and tightened i couldnt look and tighten the bolts because I needed to stretch so much but just getting the filter in there with a screwdriver in hand ready to finish clamping will do the trick...its a hassle

no ....make sure the piping is set....then work that filter from under the car going up...there will be a slight opening in order to see wat ur doing with a flash light if needed....just make sure u push it onto the pipe then turn both screws then make sure u check it from above if its on and or loose

I have a mac kit but I put a smaller filter on it. But you can turn it sideways and put the long part in then turn it and get it in. Then bolt up to the MAF then the heat shield.

yeah it took some work thats why I changed it with the K&N conical. Plus it will be easier to fit my ram air to.

yea, i put mine on the intake then slid it in eventually because putting it on and tightening it under the car was a bitch, but my filter was smaller too

yeah thats the one I originally had it was annoying to get in but I made it go. My body kit made it hard to get to the filter.

So the K&N filter will work on the new tubing or will i just have to go up under the car that way with the new filter?

the K&N will work I like it better personally the MAC filter is no different just a different shape. I didn't even put the heat shield on. there is so much air running through the fenderwell it is pointless IMO and you have more fresh air coming into the engine bay without it.
