exhaust question

if i had two performance cats with true duel, would two chambered flowmasters create enough backpressure to prevent loss of horsepower on a stock motor, (or one with no boost)

back pressure is more in your piping than the mufflers even though chambered mufflers will cause more.

with 2.25-2.5 inch piping yes thats what I have. I have 2.25 but the more back pressure the more low end torque the less back pressure the more high end hp and less torque.

um not too sure i have true dual with magna flow muffs and i didn't notice any loss until i had one side pipe ripped off bya sewer drain. then i noticed a hp loss from no back pressure.

but i know magna flow makes a single exhuast thats suppose to be better then a true dual. it's all preference though to have one or two.

that piping would be beastly to make a single better than duals.

with dual 2.5 pipes you will lose back presure
even with 2.25 you will lose some but have a higher top end
but getting 2 isnt worth it at all

Yeah but with 2.25 your not losing enough to really matter. And choking an engine just isn't very nice
