yea you can keep the stock clutch...thats the same t lok and gears on mine. a racing clutch wouldnt be a bad idea if you have the chedda. just means more clamping power and an take more abuse then your stock clutch.

well since its not a power adder mod, and it is relatively expensive compared to other things, and can wait, i would add it after everything else and put on a stage 3 or a ram clutch kit from v6mustangstuff.com .

and if you want another good power adder, replace your maf. c&l makes a good 73mm mass air flow meter kit that comes the 73mm maf sensor, a k&n 9 inch conical filter, rubber intake adapter sleeve, and a cold air box that fits to the fenderwell. its 230 bucks but is well worth it. its similar to the mac straight shot 73mm maf system. cause it eliminates bends in the tube before the air gets to the maf, which causes the meter to misread the amount of air that flows in.

www.50resto.com has 4.10's made by ford racing for 129. hell of a deal. and about the torque on the ram...im not sure, i do know that ram makes a good clutch though. its not just a random brand. theyre good parts.

what i would do is just drive with the stock clutch till you beat the shit out of it. then by that time you might have some other mods and will need a performance clutch. this way it will be brand spankin new for your new mods

30% more clamping means that it will grab faster and harder than the stock by 30% how they get these figures i dont know. just to let you know the stock clutch will hold your setup just fine. but since your replacing just get a performance anyways. and ya ram is good. the installation should be about $200. but if you really want to learn about your car and save some $ i suggest do it yourself. grab a haynes manual, rent some tools, and whatever else you need. my father and i did(first time either of us ever did major work on a car) and 9k miles later its still fine and thats about 20 passes at the track.
