Gear Ratios

Ok, this will be a dumb question. I've been told that most V6 mustangs come with a 7.5 rear end and 3.53:1 gear ratio. I'm not so sure that is what gear ratio that I have. Maybe some one can help.

1st gear I can go to 35-40 mph
2nd gear I can go to 55-60 mph
3rd gear I can go 90-95 mph
4th gear I'm not sure
5th gear I'm not sure I can cruse all day at 3k and 100mph.

can some one please help?

yeah you have stock gears,

my 4th gear goes all the way to 117, the governor.

well I just tried it out I can hit 55 in first lol but unless you changed them or the guy before you did you have stock gearing.

youve also got auto less gears and longer gears

BS. most are 3.27:1 if not, they are 2.73:1

no. they will multiply your torque more and accelerate quicker

no more like 20 4.10 are quicker accelerating so you get less speed in each gear
