I went w/ Eibach Sportline's in the front, stock springs in the rear, and just wore out $300 worth of tires in 4 months because I didn't install Caster/Camber plates. Seriously consider these plates if you're dropping your car. I don't care how low you go I would install them and have the car professionally aligned after the spring & c/c plate install.

If you want both comfort and lowering then your best bet is airbags honestly.

I put it the Eibach pro kit 10 month's ago springs and dampers and never had the car re-alined, and I guess im lucky, because the tires are still very good. But when I put on my 17 inch tires in April, I will have it re-alined.

Question for GT owners,Fog lights

A early Christmas present for my 05 V6, fog lights. If I get the GT light switch, can you have both the head lights and fog lights on at the same time?or just the fog light? Also, what type of bulb goes it there? Thanks and happy holidays...

Yes the GT switch pulls out for the fogs. So turn it all the way over then pull it out for both the headlights and the fogs.

American muscle bbk lowering springs. Thats what I got. You might also want shocks and struts. For better ride quality. The cheapest I have found is $309 from american muscle.

Eibach prokit (rated 1.5" drop) and 18x9 rims w/ 245/40 tires.

This is what the rubbing did to the wheel well (driver's side)

So I cut that portion out

And pop riveted a sheet metal plate on the inside of the well. Silicon puddy to seal it all up.

So... just know issues may occur over time. Since Ford made the driver's side well dip lower in that spot to make room for that wire loom??? Maybe something on the GT goes there? Either way, problem solved now, smaller turning radius! Woo hoo!

Just be forwarned to do it right, you'll spend some money, I spent about 700 dollars on mine 800 after the alignment, and mine is h&r ss springs, maximum motorsports c/c plates (you definitly need those) and kyb gr-2 shocks and struts, and I did all the labor myself. BUT it does ride really nice just a bit stiffer than stock and it lowered me 1.75 on all 4 corners
