your year, the v6 craves a cam, but that might be out of your budget. gears should be everyone's first mod. but maybe get a tuner like the sct xcal 2 for 379.99 from vmptuning.com. that is a great deal, plus justin is a great tuner. if you had more money, maybe upgrade to a dual exhaust system, but gains for this will be in the midpipe (getting rid of catalytic converters) and i dont know if you have emissions where you are.

Tlok and gears are going to be the BEST possible thing you can buy if you are on a budget.

But you will want to do both at the same time seeing as how they go into pretty much the same spot and will make a much less hassle of an install. About $400

If you want something NOW UD pullies are even cheaper and give you a little bit more of a nudge forward. About $100

Or if you want to hear the engine growl a bit more at you while your in the cab a good CAI will work well and there is a bit of a notice in the throttle response. About $150

Pick and choose my friend, and don't be afraid to ask questions!!!

there are a few places to get v6 cams from like;

mik @ rpm-mustangs.com
matt @ delkperformance.com
tom @ supersixmotorsports.com
compcams @ compcams.com

give any of those guys a call or e-mail and they will help you pick the right cam for what your goals or plans are from mild to wild.

Also make sure that you don't put in a cam until you are sure that you are not going to make any more serious modifications to the car i.e. charger, spray.

Cause a cam can be made to each specific application.

A cam should be one of the last things that you do to a car.

To tell the truth im not even thinking of putting a power adder on my car. It may sound stupid but i think it is a good choice
by the way what gear ratio would you recommend?

I'm going to have to disagree on that one...

4:10's for everyone!

I've been told the same thing but I've got a 5-Speed and I'd never look back at 3:73's now that I have a 4:10...

a tuner like the sct xcalibrator 2 will do the trick. plus the xcal 2 will do much more in the future too. you could get a diablosport predator, but the xcal 2 has many more features.

+1... But the SN-95's have mechanical speedo's so the tuner won't help..

I got a Dallas Mustang SpeedCal. It was $100 but the speedo is dead on and the install is super easy. Go to www.dallasmustang.com and check it out...

I would start with true duals...............
I put 2004 Mach1 take offs on my V6. It cost me $300 dollars to do the upgrade,
which improved performance. fuel economy, and looks.

$150 04 Mach1 take offs
$50 Ford OE exhaust brackets
$100 install cost

All other mods will benifit from this upgrade.........

Just my 2 cents
