supercoupe s/c


ok so i know this has been on here before but i cant find the old thread...

will the s/c off the 3.8L supercoupe fit on a 3.8L stang?

No not really. Sure you would gain some power, but not nearly as much as if you had done it the safe and right way.

now what do you mean by the safe way? j/w i mean at this point i have 2 sh!tty jobs with 2 sh!tty paychecks. and i just want to give my v6 a little boost til i can afford a vortec or a turbo kit

FUck nitro.. lol sorry personal opinion.. ive known to many people with nitrous and after one use motor was shit.. plus idk nitrous doesnt seem like a good idea to me.. idk like i said personal opinion.. id preffer turbo or s/c. and like i said the only reason i was asking about the supercoupe s/c was just for now.. til i could afford the $4000 kits from name brand companys

Then they didn't use it correctly. Nitrous is plenty safe.

You should look around the forums and other ones of course for a cheaper kit. A guy on here just sold a near complete Turbo kit for about $2,700

i started my supercoupe swap over a year ago and still ahvent gotten all the parts for it. its not the cheap easy way out either, believe me

if you have the 99-04 you will have to convert down to single port.

for a cobra it did good vs a V6 mustang turbo....oh the GT too

btw cobra is when my car was STOCK BOTTOM END
