stuck pinion gear

hey guys, I started a differential swap on my car today for a LSD and 3.73's and I cant remove the stock pinion gear. I've already taken everything else out but I can't remove it. the bearing is still in there and I don't know how to remove it without a bearing puller. money is tight and I dont want to buy one unless I need to. any suggestions?

Is the pinion flange been removed? It press's on to the pinion shaft. After you remove the pinion nut use a BFH and knock the pinion gear out the back.

You are going to have to replace it. there is no way you can get it off without tearing it up.

Make sure that you've removed the nut, flange, oil slinger and bearing from the back of the case.

If it's still stuck you need to tap it with a hammer to get the pinion out of the case.

I hope you got an install kit as well to replace the bearings and races.
