covercraft mask..illegal to have mesh on side marker lights?

I put a mask on the car a few weeks back. There is a mesh that covers the side markers. The light still shines through but they are not as bright now obviously because its covered with a mesh that wraps around. Is it going to get me a ticket????

my bad... the corner ambers on the headlights. Its like fish net that covers them. I could cut them out but it seems like it might compromise the integrity of the whole mask. I dont want to take material away if I dont have to .... but if I get a ticket for it I'll have to cut it anyways and be out whatever the fine is. I bought it from a site called Auto Anything and the picture they showed before I got it has the entire headlight exposed with no mesh. The directions it came with sucked and talked about cutting a spot for the license plate but nothing about the ambers lights on the headlights.

yes. its a bra. I just feel more comfortable calling it a mask for some reason. The only reason i have it is because my wife was driving it and got hit in the front left corner. It put a crack and hole in the bumper cover. I pulled the bumber off and used a "brulle" torch from my kitchen to heat it up from the back side. I was surprised it "fused" it back together real nice. However, it did leave a scar on the front that I didnt like thats about 6 inches long. Living in florida with the bugs and debris, I figured a bra would solve a bunch of issues. I undersatnd that they can ruin the paint underneath if not properly cared for but the problems it solved outweighed the problems it could cause.

smoked your license? sounds sweet!!! Sometimes things sound bad but I need to do things out of necessity sometimes. Im by no means poor but I try to make do without a huge expense sometimes. Id rather save my money for something that can add to the performace. Buying a $200 primed and painted bumper wasnt appealing especially after paying $100 for the new headlight assembly. I know it sound nuts but fixing it myself was pretty fun. I wouldnt ever tell my wife that but there was a certain amount of satisfaction with putting it back together

Now be careful with the bra. Especially since dust can get under it and act as a fine grit sandpaper, and start to scratch around the edge of your bumper, and also they can do other damage...just take care of it all, and you should be fine, but I don't bras on cars. I don't like bras on girls either...well there are standards there. ANYWAYS. Proper maintance of the car and accessories and you should be fine. The light is still visible through it also so you shouldn't be worried.

Well, since you have a target car, they'll try to get you for the stupidest things. I got pulled over for having smoked headlight covers in the middle of a sunny day. The signals shined through good, but he said it was still illegal (even though he didn't even watch them flash). I ended up taking the covers off on the side of the road and drove away with a warning to get new tires (1 was almost bald).

But, now you've got me started on state patrol cops. They pulled me over twice for not having a front license plate (2 different counties). They haven't got me for speeding yet, thanks to my concealed radar detector and Blinder M-20 laser jammer.
