Opinions for 08 V6
So here's the deal. Ive had my 08 v6 for a little bit now and ive decided that i want a new exhaust setup for the HP gains and a nice exhaust sound. I know for a fact that i want to go dual for obvious reasons but the rest im undecided about. Im looking to spend around 500 or so on the setup. I was thinking i would have a shop make me a H-pipe and from there run flowmaster 40's and either turndown's or some tips from there. Could i get this setup for around 500 or would it be more? Would you suggest any other setups i could run for around my budget? Opinions? Thanks!

Talk to local auto shops to see what they quote you but it should be somewhere around that price, it was for me at least. Shops vary with labor prices so you'd have to get some quotes. Just call them up and explain what you want to get.

turndowns will also amplify the sound as the sound will be bouncing off the pavement edit: check this also http://www.moddedmustangs.com/forums...st-thread.html

I just did the same thing, although way over the $500 limit. I ordered the Ford Racing True Dual Exhaust Kit, the one that comes with the bumper brackets and all and that alone ran me $880CDN. And the installation is prolly going to cost me $300-500. But it's worth it, I've head that kit and it sounds awesome just the way I want it.
