tuner questions

In the next couple of weeks ill be getting around 600 for a job and I'm planning on buying a tuner and something else with the left over money. My questions are-
Is there anywhere I can get a xcal3 cheaper than what is advertised on AM
And, what would be a good product to buy with the left over money? I already have exhaust and CAI.

you could always look on ebay for a used one, or on the classified ads on here.

I would personally buy it new to have some peace in my mind. With the rest of the $$$ I would get u.d pulleys or buy a good set of tools lol

+1. Just make sure the seller flashed his car back to stock and isn't going to ship you a tuner that's locked to a car.

I just checked ebay and they're about $20 cheaper than AM (the only ones I'm finding are brand new). But for that extra $20 you get free tunes from AM.

That's what I'm thinking too. I'm probably going to get a tuner in the next few months and those free tunes are really what's making me go with AM for the tuner.

Do you have an auto? If so the tuner will make a HUGE difference, if you have a manual then it just gives you some better response, and works well for future mods.

message the am vendor dude , hes posts on the vendor fourms. We get a code you can use when you order, i guess its like 5% discount or something but i have no idea.

btwits good idea to go with am, those free tunes will make a big differnce as you mod , you can get a new tune for every mod you put on =] worth the minimal money you'll save getting your tuner used.
