Forced Induction FUn

alright so im not gettin FI just yet buy im wondering if i should get a s/c or turbocharger or twin turbo. i wont have 10's of thouseands, but probably a good amount. what do u guys think i should go with and im trying to get the most hp possible. how much do u think i could get with say about 7g's?

p.s. this is a dialy driver so maybe i can get something to change the PSI from inside the car. is that possible?

ya, nitrous is pretty cheap though. just get a huge turbo and a small shot of nitrous to help spool the turbo along. but a power pak would be nice. forged internals a must, unless you dont want high psi -_-

Yeah Forged internals, and turbo and you can get a boost controller.

I would say either do a single turbo setup or a parrallel twin turbo setup. A single turbo setup will be cheaper, and you can see plenty of power out of it, but a twin turbo setup will make plenty of power, you will spool up quicker, and hell it's just awesome to have 2 turbos.

To change the boost inside the car go with a boost controller, and also a turbo timer is a good investment to keep those turbos running properly. (ie. it keeps them in a better conidtion so they last longer)

get nitrous with a window switch, and a large turbo. have the nitrous cut off at when you get boost. this way you get to higher rpms faster than your turbos all full boost extremely quickly. so in the area where you would have turbo lag your spraying.

im not sure what exactly you could use, but there are far better options than a boost controller and a turbo timer. Those are about as low as you can go for power and keeping your engine lasting. If you could get an electronic (some sort of aftermarket engine conrtol unit that you could have full control over tuning wise) set up that would be able to sense knock, that would be ideal; you could make more power safer than the lower power numbers with a boost controller.

depends completely on your budget.. if you can afford it HELL YEAH

if not, then get turbo and you still will not be able to wipe the grin off your face when you punch it

singles can put out just as much as twins. just depends on how you set it up.

a boost controller is simply to increase the boost. nothing more nothing less... and a turbo timer keeps your engine running after its turned off so the turbo has time to cool off after being driven hard

well when you go with single turbo you usually get a huge turbo which means low end lag. with twin turbo you usually have smaller turbos running which eliminates lag. and it would be wise to get both. the timer to keep your turbos cool. and the controller to choose how much boost you want.
