well i believe they just dyno tuned just the motor of a 4.3 with a carb and high rise intake at 350hp. I believe their 4.3 would probably push 260-280 to the wheels on our cars. That is if you get one with ported heads, intake, and cam

i would like to put a v8 in but more practical to put in a built v6 less modification when installing and these built v6 motors are pretty powerful

Well, outside of just having it bolt up, changing the tranny and rear end will be more for reliability of handling the power, not because of V8 vs V6.

I understand about the wiring, though.

If you've got the money, I say go for the stroker six. I'd still say you're gonna need to do the 8.8 swap, though, especially if you're drag-launching it. If you're just doing roll racing or twisties, the 7.5 will be fine.

ya and also the transmission from the v6 and v8 are different it will not just bolt up you would have to get a new transmission. the 8.8 is a swap i plan on doing later.

Huh. I thought the 3.8 used the smallblock bolt pattern.

If it doesn't, it'd probably still be worth beefing up the internals of your T5, assuming that you have a manual. An AODE/4R70 should be fine with those power levels assuming it's not overheating.

But I agree with Rev, get the stroker, see how long the rear holds. Will be a quick car with that motor.
