Seat Belts

Ok, so this is something that has been bothering me for awhile. Does anyone else have the problem where there seat belts on their cars, im guessing years 99-04 will not return, and they get all twisted? Is there any fix to this, besides cutting them off and duct taping myself to the seat?

Yep. The passenger side in my car really likes to get all twisted up and stuck.

Mine does that too. I always end up having the fix it because girls just don't understand car. Speaking of which, my girl is finally going to get her license (she's almost 18 ffs) and he dad won't let her drive until she can change the oil, change a tire, and change a gasket in a car. Lucky her, I have a gasket that needs to go on my IAC, oil will need to be changed around the time she gets her license, and I have rotors that need to be installed + I'm looking at some new wheels. I get to teach her how to change everything. I really doubt she's going to understand a thing I teach her.

I have to put my girl in her place when she bad mouths my baby. And she hates when I call it baby. Ahh my baby. But yeah the seatbelts are lame. I'm letting it ride until the interior re-do, I'm replacing them with black, they are dirty as all hell anyway.

ha, im psychic, and i agree with you guys on the girls not understanding us and our cars. my girl always gets mad cuz i wash my car all the time, she thinks i need like counsiling lol. i told her im proud of it. and i guess we can wait until someone comes up with a fix. for now we will have to suffer. maybe one day i will look at wut causes it and see.

My girl understands I love the car, she just doesn't understand why I would buy brand new parts when most things on my car are running fine. I tried explaining it but I don't think I got through to her. All I know is she now tells me she wants me to be happy with the car, which I am. I just want it to go faster

The seatbelts in both the sixxer and cobra do it

I've actually completely taken off the panels in the cobra and got to the seatbelt retractor in hopes that i could fix it...sadly I couldn't figure out how to fix the twist

I think I'm at the point that im just going to go to the dealer and have them fix it (only the cobra...not worth it for the v6 lol)
