Why does nothing go to plan?

So.. I decided to do a bit of work on the Mustang today. I have been having problems with my heater so I decided to replace the thermostat to try and fix that problem. I also decided to change my fuel filter.

Well, the thermostat went fine until I realized it did not fix my problem.

The fuel filter went fine until I realized I needed a fuel line disconnect tool (the book NEVER mentioned this).

This, plus I think one of the metal connections on the fuel line came lose while I was trying to remove the line from the filter. I am hoping it does not leak... if it does, then I will have to take it to a shop so they can recrip the metal or whatever... its one of the A/C lookin crimped metal to metal kinda deals.

I also think the cause of my heater problem may be a switch in the dash... gonna have to look into that.

So ya, nothing ever goes to plan

Because then life would be easy, and you wouldn't appreciate the good times, the times your car runs as it should, hot sex... yeah. You need lows so the highs feel that much better.

go to a junk yard and ask for the switch and try it and see if you get heat
