Supercharger Help

I've been searching the web for a v6 supercharger. I've checked americanmuscle.com all they have is 4.6/5.0/5.4 superchargers. So i saw an advertizment on powerblock t.v about summitracing.com. So I checked it out and it turns out they have a supercharger kit for a v6 mustang, and i have a few questions about it.

Now I've seen post where ots recomended to buy a supercharger that is intercooled. As ot turns out this kid DOES NOt have one.

It's a Vortech Centrifugal Supercharger to be exact. They say it puts out 8-9 psi boost, and i am aware that, it is not too impressive, and I say that because I've seen 11psi+ superchargers for v6's.

I am also aware that it does not come with a tuner, and thats not too much of a problem i can get a hold of one.

Is this a "smart buy" or is there another place, website that sells superchargers/porchargers/x-chargers, please let me know.

I am asking now because when it comes time (spring) to buy a supercharger, I want to do it right the first time around.

thanks

that's weird i checked to see if you missed it, but AM just came out with a supercharger for our 6's but they discontinued it already...

and sorry i have no clue about the supercharger...seems like it includes everything the one AM offered, and the price sounds about right. Wait for a more intelligent response though

get a procharger! Any authorized procharger dealer could hook you up. Also i know there are a few used p1sc for sale on v6power.net and 3.8mustang.com

you have 4 options for superchargers, unless you want to do a completely custom route. procharger and vortech sell complete bolt on kits. since you have a single port, you can do the m90/MPX swap from a thunderbird supercoupe, or you can go split port and do a m112 kit.

Well now that you mentioned it i found a "power pack" on supersixmotorsports.com and its supposed to be ported (upper and lower, and for my year car.

http://www.supersixmotorsports.com/p...1PowerPaks.pdf

The one I'm going to get is the stage 3 for the 96-98 assuming its the same as a port swap. Im assuming its the same sence its saying fully ported upper and lower intake.

if any of you guys can clarify that for me. The fact that the stage 3 96-98 power package from supersix is a "good" investment then let me know please so i dont make the mistake down the road
