Wheels

So, I don't know how to post a pic of my car, but im thinking that I could paint my stock wheels black, and id really be happy. I want to do that, get some nicer tires, paint my calipers red, and lower it with springs. Good or bad idea? Id be happy if they turned out good and stayed like they turned out. What do you think? Any suggestions? Maybe a sticky?

Personally I wouldn't do it. To have it done properly you would need to powdercoat your wheels. Other than that it would start to chip real easily.

well first off the stock ones are just plain ugly. and it will look "ghetto" IMO. because people who know anything about stangs know the stock wheels and would just laugh, i know i would at least. if i were you i would just save up for some aftermarket wheels

Well im really happy I dont have those gaudy 6 spoke ones. I hate them. My wheels are 16's, thats not a bad size. At most, id go up 2 inches. They have a kit to paint wheels, I think its a Dupont product. If it is, everyone knows Dupont is a good company. I think I could be happy with my stock wheels. Id just have o work around them. I found some tires that I like. Their Nitto Redline tires. I think thats what there called. Anyone seen them on a Mustang? Do they make them in 16's? How much are they?

They have a wheel paint that has a CC additive. I was going to paint mine gunpowder blue this summer since I am probably no doing rims for awhile or am getting 16in dr rims and tire set my uncle has. But the paint looks good if you take your time and do it right. Also have to keep it taken care of.

Dupont is good paint

and Nittos are great tires but they are pretty expensive.
