Hey fellas, new member here.

Howdy fellas, new member here, just recently getting into this whole car modifying thing and shoppin at AM and enjoying it a lot. So when I bought my car a while back ago it actually came with an aftermarket exhaust (Dual pipe instead of single). It's a 1996 V6 coupe. My question to all you people who are knowledgeable in this subject is, what are the best first little modifications to get? I've been reading up and considering heavily, Cold Air Intake kit, Lowering springs, New rotors, and / or a new throttle body. I'm having a lot of trouble deciding what to spend my tax refund on (it will be pretty small, a couple hundred) so I've been browsing AM and such but figured I could get some good suggestions here. Open to anything, no obligation to help me by any means, but I'm open to any knowledge sharing or part suggestions. Thanks everyone, glad to be a member here.

Tb are a finishing mod.
Cai is a wonderfu starting mod.
Springs make your car look great and handle great.

If your an Auto, get a Sct tuner, it will change your shifting points and you will be pew pew

Bar far the biggest improvement you can do performance wise is gears and a tlok. They will run probably about 600 with the insall. If you are looking for something cheaper, under drive pulleys are a great mod, they were one of the better mods i did. I think my two favorite mods i did were dual exhaust and the cold air intake, just because the exhaust is louder, and the cold air intake sounds sweet because you can hear the air rushing in it.

I would agree with ^ the under drive pulleys were the biggest increase in performance besides the gears. They were also a lot cheaper, and a lot easier to install. And i do love my gears! I can't wait for spring to see how my new tires will hook on some asphalt instead of ice like it is now. If you have an auto, a tuner is also a really great mod. I do not, so it did not make to much of a difference, but it will help when i hopefully get my windstar intake, headers, and some other minor mods then a good tune.
