engine wouldnt start and noise

well after work today, car had been sitting for about 8 hours or so. and when i went to start it, it wouldnt crank and when i was just letting off the ignition i heard kind of a screeching noise come from the engine. and then i was like wtf? so i tried to start it again and it hesitated(like it usually does)
a few days ago my battery died because i ran my radio for a few hours with the car turned off(have subs). you think it could be the battery or something else? also whys it hesitate so much when i turn it on? it always feels like its going to die but has only died once. this weekend im changing the spark plugs. what else could be the problem?

yes hesitate to start. instead of just firing it up cranks for a few seconds, starts and then feels like its gonna die. but it doesnt.

it will take your battery a while to get its full charge back man. also that squeaking could have been belt slippage from weather or just cuz the engine is sluggish to turn. when u run a car battery flat it usually damages it so it may not ever get a full charge back.

same thing happened to me a while ago...after i got my power pack everything just started to go wrong...it sucked...but! i had to go get a new battery and a new alt. and now it runns AOK!except for the oil leak that cant be fixed....idk where its comming from either small drops in alota places? think it might be the gaskets? and my pack came with a windage tray in the oil pan so i dont even think my dip stick can get past the damn thing...so gay so when i wana check my oil i just change my oil...which is gay...royal purple isnt cheap...but anyway id recomend getting a new alt and battery u can get each like for 50 and 60 bucks if u get a refurbished alt @ pepboys!!
