Mustang + Snow plow = ...

So has anyone else seen some mustangs with plows? because I've seen alot online but i wanted to know if it would actually work. Anyone maybe have one or have freinds that have one or anyone know how to put one on?

the reason i ask is because this snow is getting ridiculous and i was think i have the power i just need the plow. thoughts?

No. That's stupid. Unless you have the super rare 4 wheel low mod for your stang. And really even if you did it would still be stupid to have a plow on a mustang.

without 4 wheel drive all the weight would be up front of the car and you wouldnt have any weight to push the back tires into the ground so you would just spin the whole time. regardless whoever puts a snow plow on a mustang should have the car taken away. they invented snow blowers for a reason.

-the plow will bend the frame
-attaching the plow to the car will be an issue
-seeing over the plow when it is raised will be an issue
-traction will be an even bigger issue with a plow sitting on the front

You'd be better off trying to plow with something FWD than RWD.

Have you ever seen a 2WD pickup with a snow plow? Yeah, me neither.

mustangs are bad enough in snow without the plow tipping the tail into the air.

I just drove home in 1/4" of snow and it was hell. I barely made it up the tiny hill into my parking lot. Our cars suck ass in the snow

my car is actually great in snow. lol. I have two of the most aggressive studded snow tires on the back, a tlok in for both wheels to spin. Then about 100lbs of weight in the trunk. I actually just drove through 6+ inches of snow in my parking lot at school. I got stuck, but a little shoveling, then a bit of the right foot, and i drove straight thru.

But the plow thing is a silly idea.

Can't wait for my tlok to get here. The damn snow is slowing it down though

Code I love that whole story built up like you agreed with OP and that snow was no problem, and then bam! changed your tune to bash the snow plow. Good times.

ha thanks. I mean really why would you even want to put your snow plow on your mustang? Just go buy a snowblower or a four wheeler and put a plow on it. Or cheaper yet go get some kids and pay them like five ten bucks to shovel your driveway. I would have done it when I was younger.
