Is it Easy to Install Magnaflow Exhaust?

I have some mechanical knowledge, but I was wondering if I would be able to install the MagnaFlow15717 exhaust by myself? Also do I need a gt bumbper? Can anyone point me to a write up or tell me how they installed theirs? Thanks

I think you can run them under the bumper without the cutouts. I ran mine under the bumper because I like the way it looked...but most people dont. As far as installing them you should be able to.

Well the gt actually isn't just cut out, it's a molded form. But i'm sure it can't be too hard to cut you some nice holes. I've seen some write ups to doing it, but can't remember where.

But if you screw it up you can always buy a gt bumper

Yeah it will never look the same as a GT bumper if you cut your stock one.

So does anyone know how the magnaflow exhaust comes out? Do i have to bend the pipes, or just get downpipes?

I believe if you use the GT hangers you can modify them slightly for the tips to exit under your stock bumper. Some sixxer owners have gone this route, I'm going to have the GT bumper so I'm not much help here.
