Stock block will take a beating, some have had it close to 500hp (issues at high numbers though). Many in the 350-400 range with reliable rides.

Auto or manual? Gears+t-lok and a tune are great, type depends on trans. Some other goodies depend on trans type as well.

From there its a question of his goals. Single turbo is normally the best boost option. Your normal bolt-ons help, but don't give the gains that they do on the 4.6.

Keep in mind its still a mustang, so things like the suspension will be similar to your car. For me supporting mods (suspension, brakes, drivetrain) are just as important as the power adders, so I've done those first. Again it depends on his overall goals.

underdrive pully, tuner, gears&tlok, cai are the best bolt on options to get started. There are numerous other projects that will keep you busy to.

Let me clarify this.

The factory internals have been to 500rwhp. The factory block has been past 700rwhp without issue.

Safely though 350rwhp is safe for stock internals.

And brakes are not needed. We have GT brakes on a lighter car. Gary with 660rwhp had factory brakes. Now If you plan on running road courses then a brake upgrade will be needed.

Should have clarified further my personal goals, curves are what I tear up, the brakes helped a ton with stopping power, smoothness and decreased dust build up tremendously. This is why I said twice to know owner's goals.

Thanks for the clarification on numbers though, I was thinking internals obviously.

the throttle body will be a waste until he has over 300rwhp

I've always seen you can run 75shot without too much concern on stock internals.

I heard 100 shot is safe. 125 is fine and 150 is chancing it
Nitrous is fine if you set it at a safe zone with your windowswitch, its not so much about the shot but when you shoot it
