GDPs Official M112 Build

This is my official build thread for my eaton project. After about a year and a half of shit talking on here and "Im gonna do..."s I have finally got around to doing it. Well I should say AJ, my mechanic is doing it lol. Im sure some of you might say, doing it yourself is half the fun. And you are right, and I did get to help and watch. But making sure its done right is priceless. I dont trust ANYONE else besides my guy to touch her. Not even me lol.

So basically what we have here is a standard eaton conversion swap. Plus a 99/01 lower intake with NO IRMCs and its ported to match that of any professional port job. I cant/wont say how it was done but its identical to one you would get from any named company. I had pieced this together myself using knowledge I have gathered from Mysteed and these threads. I want to give Nathan his due credit here for giving the V6 community this option. Thanks man for all the help and knowledge. Really other than the lower intake its pretty run of the mill. The upper intake is from SSM ........ AND THIS BISH IS HUUUUUGE! I almost regret not getting the intake from Mysteed/Roush(the guy, forget his full username). So anyway ........

Todays progress was great! If I had not wanted to throw in a non IRMC lower it would might have been done already. But I just believe the ported non IRMC lower will be a GREAT addition to the blower. Basically today we ...... actually I dont know why im saying we when it was mostly (read: all) Kevin and AJ .... ripped all the EGR stuff out, the upper intake, and the lower. Then they had to build it back up again.

Also a holdup was the stupid parts store didnt deliver the needed parts until later in the day. Not a big deal but annoying. But thanks to AJ it went on. Basically where we sit now is just need to install the upper intake and eaton. As well as rerun all the coolant lines, vaccum lines, the belt, and run the boost gauge line. So tomorrow it should all be done.

And now for your viewing pleasure.

AJ actually has better/more pics. But I just wanted to post mine.

You have a problem. What are you going to do with the hood? I'm also hoping you got fuel upgrades as well (pump & injectors)

No problem, cutting a big hole in the hood. And no I didnt get any fuel pumps or injectors. I just randomly grabbed a bunch of parts without researching and slapped them on. Comon man.

Man i am so jealous. I wish i could supercharge my mustang. You could cut a hole in the hood and try to cover it up with a scoop! But anyways thats awesome. Good luck with it!

Yeah the plan is to cut the hood. Then possibly make a custom plexiglass type see through cover. Why not right, custom hood setup for a custom supercharger lol.

Also worked on it till 1am last night. It was ALMOST perfect. We had figured out all the vac lines, where to mount the coil pack, ect when it ran it kept jumping off the (belt) alternator. Plus a few small vac leaks. The belt issue is probably the supercharger not aligned right on the custom plate. Soooo gonna have to be moved back some. Not alot, cause the belt actually only jumps half off the alternator pulley.

Bad thing about that though, is it will have to be resealed with more RTV. Everytime it has to be resealed, we run the risk of more/bigger vac/boost leaks.

Yea i had the same problem with mine. Try moving it on the extra groves on the M112 pulley. That should do the trick. I shredded 3 belts before i found out that problem. As for the entire build good job. but i cant stress this enough. DO NOT DRIVE THIS UNTIL YOU DYNO TUNE IT. I did and i exploded my pistons. Every single one.

Yeah it has a email tune from Justin@VMP so its pretty safe. It still roughish but its drivable. Plus im not getting much into the boost.
