Engine swap question

hey guys, I got a friend with a 95 3.8 auto mustang with a blown bottom end. He recently purchased a 99 complete engine package from a guy that swapped to a v8. Comes with everything including, pedal assem. T5 trans, wiring, pcm, motor, ect ect....What will this take to swap into the 95 body? And what driveshaft will work since thats the only piece that wasnt included...i dont think the auto 95 drive shaft will work on the 99 t5 swap. Thanks!

Yeah you might have a few issues getting things to fit being they are from 2 generations of cars, I think you will need to upgrade the driveshaft. But i hope it goes smooth with not so many issues.

Anyway, you will need transmission mounts, motor mounts, the drive shaft, and an 8.8 rear end.

It was in early to mid 01 they swapped. My bad. You are correct. I was thinking that you had a GT.. force of habit. They swapped the GT T-45 in mid 01 to the T-3650 from the T-45.

I guess they gave you the T-45 when the GT's upgraded.

Not saying anything bad about the 6'er though. I owned 2 of them in mustang form.

Well frankly, you are going to be adding 130 or so HP. Odds are that you will break a 7.5 if you beat on it even just a little.

no problem no both the 95 with the blown motor and the new 99 motor are both v6 just difference of single port and split port, and auto to manual. The auto to manual swap I have done personally before so thats not going to be an issue for me. The question is what all will need to be done to put a 99 v6 into pre 99 bodies
