Custom Subframe connectors

I was just curious how difficult would it be to build my own subframe connectors? I'm a welder and machinist for an fsae team so I can fabricate them fine, but I was just curious about the specs I would need to make them to.

I think you could design them anyway you want, but the car has to be level and you have to measure for square.corner to corner.I have been looking at kits and pics.

Why? They are cheap. Buy the mm ones and be done.

Just my opinion.

You actually on the team or just do work for them? What school. I'm on the University of Evansville FSAE team. Glad to see someone else affiliated with FSAE on here.
