Nittos and Perellis are both pretty high quality performance tires. Don't plan on getting them too cheap though.

Sumitomos are what I went with for my 18" 2010 GT Premiums. Haven't been able to put them on the car due to the snow but I know they won't be as good as Nittos, but they didn't break the bank either. What size exactly are you looking for? (Sorry I've never had stock rims, I bought my car with 17" GT Bullitts)

I did a little research and found the 15" rims to have 205/65/15 tires (stock). Not sure if you're ok with changing the sidewall but Yokohama is a decent brand. Yokohama S.drive The sidewall would go from your current 133.25mm to 112.75mm (which would be somewhere near 3/4" shorter sidewall).

i had BFgoodrich Radial T/A when i had my 15's.

i had 215/65/R15 up front
and 235/60/R15 in the back.

i liked them, and they had a nice muscle car look to them

I use Goodyears Eagle Response edge.
I bought them last year, not sure if they have the same tread pattern now.
I use 205/65/15. They are a nice tire with 50,000 mile tread warranty.

Those B F Goodriches do look good/muscular. Only a T speed rating if that matters to anyone.

I had Goodyear Eagle GT's on my last Mustang with stock 15" rims. They were pretty good. Now I have BF Goodrich G-Force T/A's, 245/45/R17 and I really like them except in heavy rain. Not sure if they make them for 15 " rims though.

I think Matt Stang is correct about the 2000 Mustangs having 16" stock rims. My last Mustang was a 1989:< with 15". My current wheels are not stock but the BFG's perform well.

16" was an option on them I believe. I have a 2000 and they are 15s.

Can't help you out on what tires to get though.. Mine came with the car and are terrible.
