Fog lamp cleaning...

Just bought some used fog lights and i want to clean em up a bit, even the inside...anyone know something good to use that i can just sort of have soak inside the lamp since it's gonna be difficult to scrub in there or anything?

hmmm...not sure why but i didn't realize how dumb of an idea putting any kind of liquid in the lamp itself would actually be ...well, anyway, if there's another way please fill me in haha...

if you just let something sit on the clear plastic inside of the housing it shouldnt hurt anything electronically...its just the housing. just need to find the right cleaner

Yea i think the only thing i'd be worried about is any kind of condensation or build up after i'm done cleaning them...but if they sit and dry out long enough that shouldn't be an issue right?

yea, as long as you arent cutting them open or anything, they should seal up fine. just make sure they are dry when you put them in.

i'm not sure how to clean inside but outside take cloth or paper towel and fold in half, put paint thinner on one side and leave other side dry. wipe light with paint thinner side in one direction firmly once then wipe off with other side. goodluck
