sct tuner questions
so i recently got my neww tuner and havent got to even drive the car with the snow but i have some questions already. Is it safe to turn off the rear oxygen sensors and the egr just because i want to? i dont want to hurt anything but if i can why not right? also when you data log do you have to have a computer hooked to it or does it automatically save on the tuner itself ? it looks to me like you haveto have a laptop. Thanks in advance.

I would not mess with the rear oxygen sensors if you are not very fimiluar with tuning. Use the tunes that AM gives you or the ones on there. The only thing I think I would change would be like the max speed.

Turning them off will not effect a thing.

i didnt think it would but it saves me from replacing them because the car has higher mileage. No problems i just figure if i can why not . I am not going to mess with spark or anything . I wish there wasnt a bunch of snow here i wanna burn up the 89 and start the 93 tune! cant wait.

ya, you definately can turn of the rear 02s. that is what you do when you put lts on and the car runs fine. and as far as the data logging,i think, i may be wrong, but i think the tuner can hold 30 seconds of datalogging, i am not sure since i have a laptop that i use for it.
