single to split port

hey guys its been awhile since i been on been kinda down in the dumps the past few months. I got t-boned by a 2000 f-250 in my mustang back in november. I finally got a new mustang but it needs alot of work but what do u expect for $500. I was looking at either replacing the single port engine with a split port engine or just rebuilding the top end with top end off my old car. do i need more then just the upper and lower intake and heads. the more information i can get on this the sooner i can get this thing going in the right direction. my old car was a 2001 coupe the new a 96 drop top.
