Having Some Problems Installing CAI

I have a 98 v6 Mustang and I ordered the 94-98 CAI off AM. Here's my problems so far, the taking apart of the stock filter was easy and fine then I tried to put the new one on and here are the pics to explain a little easier.

This is what I figured the CAI shoudl look like installed....

This is how it looks when the ports are pointing upward.

This is where my air sensor is located on the stock intake!

This is where my one hose is located on the stock Intake, whereas the AM video shows the hose towards the top near the throttle.

I think i've figured it out after viewing pictures on AM's site. I guessing the air sensor connector flex's enough to go under the pipe and then the hose cuppling gets taken off and the hose wraps itself around the chrome piece?

Still would like someone to clear this up if they don't mind though. Thanks a lot!

the new edge uses the hose at the top of the tube near the TB...it goes into the Pass. Side Valve Cover...i didn't even worry about that hose...just plug it in the tube and add a $9 breather filter to the cover...that'll solve the hose problem...

then again...thats the new edge...i dunno for sure about the sn95 where the hose goes into

I have looked over a few photos of people with my same set up and i think I have it figured out...the black hose in my last picture I have to take the plastic piece off and just slide the hose over the chrome extension in the CAI

i jus put one on my 96 nd i wanna say its jus about the same.. take the plastic piece out of the tube using a flat headnd it goes on the chrome extention. ur sensor goes under it were there should be a hole and a rubber gromnet on it.. then bolt it in and ur good to go.

ps if u have any trouble with the plastic piece look on youtube itll help u alot..

Not sure if your model has an air temp sensor, but if it did then did you have any trouble getting it in that rubber grommet? I think the hardest part of my whole install was trying to get my air temp sensor in there. It was too tight to let the sensor go all the way in.
