strip your interior and trunk interior, take out spare tire and jack
get an aluminum drive shaft,
aluminum block
all that wont take off a full second
actually if you take out getting an aluminum block you'd only take out maybe 200lbs worth .2 of second

well you could repace you k member with a full tube one, and your a arms, rear seat delete, all plex windows, take the entire door panel off and run them just streight sheat metal, pull the dash out, just use a pedistal mount column, pull out the consule, oh dont forget the passenger seat. ya its not worth it that might get you half a second if your lucky

you'd need to take off close to or about 1000lbs yes half a ton to reach a full second

rule of thumb is .1 per 100lbs

so all the hondas talking shit about how light they are...the 4 cylinder power and torque SHOWS

lolno problem

taking out things like the spare tire and jack, and maybe the rear seats for a day at the drag strip is cool for some better times..slight better times. but stripping wieght isnt the way to go for more power.

my buddy spent 11k in his honda hatch...it only has 300rwhp...and he tells me its light as hell that he'll smoke the new GT's

he ran a best of 13.7 or 13.8 for 11grand into an engine...thats PATHETIC. the new GT's dont even have 300rwhp and can push out 13.5

wieght isnt that big an issue unless your running lower then 10s

removing the a/c is not worth the hassle at all
