Question

Black or chrome?

Would chrome rims look good on a red Stang or should I stick with black?

Since they are going on your car, I think the only opinion you really need is your own.

Either will look good, and you can google tons of pictures of both.

Any suggestions on where to get rims? I'm probably going to use American Muscle but I am open to other's opinions.

Was the price they beat after our discount? I had AM price match some tires but after the final costs were figured out, the discount code brought the tires down to almost the same as the place I had them price matched from.

AM is probably going to be your best bet. Their prices are good, rims come with a warranty, and if you buy tires as well they mount/balance and throw in valve stems are no charge. When I was buying wheels I know I looked around at other sites but AM came up cheapest after our discount and after I figured in the price of shipping, mounting + balancing, and new valve stems.
Edit: You could try StangMods, LateModelRestoration, CJPonyParts, etc but I think AM is going to give you the best deal. If you haven't already, PM AMNick or AMStanger for a discount code for being a MM member.

I had chrome rims on my last two red mustangs but it's really whatever makes you smile when YOU look at them. Check out the red mustangs on this website and see what they did. Also, American Muscle has been good to us.

Thanks for the help. I'm sticking with black to keep with my original plan of blacking it out. Does anbody have an oppinion on the Sumitomo High Performance HTR Z II Tires? this would be greatly appreciated.

I have a set on my new wheels but they haven't made it on the car yet. I expect they'll be up to my standards but I'm aware they won't be close to as good as Nittos.

I want Nittos but I also want to be able to get my rims faster. So to save like $80 I decided to choose the Sumitomo High Performance HTR Z II Tires instead even though they won't be as good as I would like but I can always buy new tires when those die. Also does anybody know if I need to get the TPMS sensors put in them when they mount and balance them.
