Going over to Town Fair Tire (New England's best place to go for wheels/tires) to get a -free- all-wheel alignment on the new pony today (technically, I paid for it with the last Stang I bought a week ago, but they're being nice). And, I just talked to the dude I bought the last Stang off of, and he's willing to swap the wheels so I don't have to buy another set of tires! So I'm getting those 96-97 17" factory star wheels with the brand new performance tires on em, and he's just gonna keep the $700 he owes me.

You can buy bullitt takeoffs from ford with pirellis for $650 just so you know. If the $700 is just for those, I'd reconsider.

Yeah, the problem is that I already paid for the tires. I bought his POS 94 V6 that had apparently been totalled back in 8/01... for $2,600! He obviously hadn't told me about the bent frame before I paid him. Anyway, I took it home for a couple days, and after bringing it to the shop, decided to stop payment on the check I wrote him, then asked him to take it back. He took it back, but not before I put a brand new set (well, used for a couple days) of Y-rated tires on it. So when I bought the Stang I have now, which needs four new tires, I figured I'd ask him if he'd mind swapping out the wheels instead of paying me back the $700 cash I gave him for his POS. He agreed, and so now I'll be getting myself some better rims and awesome tires I just paid for and thought I had lost!
