No sir. IACs run right around $70 or so. Cleaning the IAC cost me maybe $3 for a can of cleaner and this will cost me $4 for the restrictor. If this fails and cleaning the MAF fails, I'll look into a new IAC, but I'm going for the cheaper options first

Oh def. go for the easiest, cheapest thing first to eliminate it, I was just curious if you had replaced it and still had issues, my guess is the valve itself is bad.

Yeah I'm a little worried that valve itself is the problem.

At least less than $100 to fix... that's "small" in my book although it does blow that you have to spend money to fix something that you can't upgrade. Sadly I shelved $110 for a new stock header cuz mine cracked, didn't have the time or money to do the complete exhaust yet...

Yeah in perspective it is a small fix. I just want to spend as little as possible since I'm saving up for paint right now. I'm tempted to just buy a new IAC though. After I changed my spark plugs today the car ran down to about 350 RPM when I put the clutch in at a stop light. I'm surprised it didn't stall but it's been behaving for the most part today. The IAC restrictor got here yesterday. Still a little worried about putting it on due to the low idling though it would be nice to have my RPMs drop quicker when I put the clutch in.
