getting it out isnt very fun. i did mine when i put my turbo which made it easier because i just pulled the header out and then i could get it in a good place to loosen the nut for the egr. word of advice, soak that thing with some pb blaster and let it sit for a while. its a damn 1 inch nut which means you will have to use a big as wrench which doesnt fit down there very easily.
