Posted at Thu Oct 08, 2009 1:54 pm By kaiz67, New to the forum Give Feedback | Votes: 0 Electrical problem 2000 Ford Mustang 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 93000 miles Hello, Can anyone tell me where the CCRM box is located on this Mustang. Someone told me it is on the passenger side front fender under the hood but I can't find what he is taking about.. I am specifically looking for the fuel pump relay and I was told it is in the CCRM box. I have had this replaced before, (my father in-law replaced it, but he doesnt live here and I cant get incontact with him) when the car would crank nice but would not start. The car would not start for about the past week and this morning I went out and it started right up. I let the car run for about 5 minutes then shut if off and restarted it again. In fact it has started about 15 times today. Idlles smooth and runs good... I have a feeling the fuel pump relay is acting erratic and would like to replace it. Pleas let me know where that box is located! Thanks! Find a car repair manual for your Ford Mustang Repair Question. Reply with quote |

yes it is in the CCRM... this is what it looks like from the inside. It is in the passengers side fender, behind the apron.

Bro my car is doing the same thing. That blue thing is the fuel pump fuse. Like dude said the thing in the trunk is a circuit breaker. Inertia switch. The problem is in one of 3 places bro. Main computer/PCM , ccrm , or fuel pump driver module which is in the trunk behind a panel. I'm betting on that cause I've searched everywhere else. The fuel pump driver module/ FPDM is the variable voltage controller for the fuel pump. I hope this helps. If you solved you issue can you tell me what it was for sure? Thanks

You need to do the diagnostic process before you just replace parts.
But if it works with a jumper, and doesn't without a jumper. It obviously works. How old is the battery. Even if its new you can still get duds.. The other day I installed a battery in a car because the new one put in a day before was bad..

That's true but it's not the battery brother I tried 2 new ones. It's a funky electronic issue. It's a pain in the .ss to find.
