stumbling in

hello,

i was wondering if anyone here could help.

i have a 2000 3.8 manual trans.

when i start out from a stop sign or signal, i get a hesitation and stumble

when driving at normal road speeds there doesnt seem to be a problem.

just initial take off.

its not your clutch....as stated before its your driving.....that used to happen to me when i first started driving a standard...try giving it a little more gas...see if that doesnt fix your problem

A misfire would be a flashing check engine light go to autozone and get the code for us.

thanks green,

i looked at codes, had sai prob before but it didnt cause this stumbling
i am having now.

replaced air pump before showed same codes, was seized from moisture.

will pull it again and check. but this stumbling happens when engine is warm and i notice it when in neutral also.

give it pedal and right off idle it stumbles ,when in gear you can feel it is not firing all cylinders.

once i hit about 2krpm it clears no other symptoms.

green,

it is all stock 90k mi.

original clutch, does it in neutral so i know it is not clutch.

it doesnt buck like clutch probs,it kinda just chugs along unit it
hits about 2k rpm. it is the initial throttle opening whether in gear or not
it stutters clears its throat then alls well.

if i mash the pedal it falls on its face then clears out around 2krpm.

small throttle opening same result .

i would clean your maf out and iac for the hell of it. just be careful while servicing these parts. put some injector cleaner in your gas or just put it right in through the throttle body.

Clean the MAF make sure nothing is in the airbox take apart the intake and clean it up nice. If it isn't the clutch sounds like the car is choking.
