Flowmasters are pretty popular. I have dual independent Bullett exhaust and you can hear me coming from a ways off. Nice deep rumble for a V6.

if you want a really throaty sound out of your v6 is either going with an x pipe or h pipe. they boths ound nice. Get rid of your cats and get MIL eliminators to keep your computer from turning out its check engine light, then get 2 40 series flowmaster mufflers. Shopa round and you can get a really good deal. Fir the mil eliminators it costed me 70 with including shipping, and you need to because you ahve 2 cats/ one eliminator for each cat. Then the 40 series mufflers were 50.00 each on ebay brand new. So 100.00 in mufflers then you go to autozone buy some piping and cut and weld your self an x pipe or h pipe. your choice. Then once you od those three things you go to a muffler amn and try to get the cheapest prices for installation and piping. Ive got 190 so far between the mufflers, piping for my x pipe, and then 70.00 for the o2 eliminators. Tommorow im going to have it installed. im really excited! Ive spent months researching the throatyest best option for exhaust and to get the most power. heres your best bet and the most free flowing exhaust set up. Oah yeah and by the way i wouldnt recommend going any bigger than 2.75 inch pipe, because you need back pressure or youll loose a lot of power outta thehole. good luck let me knwo what you think. heres a sweet video of exactly what im doing except the guy is useing an H pipe.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x_Pf727XPGI wait man i jsut found a sound clip of the same exact set up just with an x pipe here this one is too
http://youtube.com/watch?v=InN5qMrRnDY let me knwo what you think.

For a V6 an X pipe will give you more of a whining tinny sound. Stick with an H-pipe...

Longtubes and hpipe with flowmaster 40s = Throaty

Offroad Xpipe with Flowmaster Delta 40s and turndowns = my setup which = Screaming loud so if you dont wanna catch cops attention dont do this setup......plus it can drone a lot in 5th gear at times
