Sequential Tail lights w/ LEDs

I have a 2003 Mustang and I installed the splice-in sequential tail lights kit. I replaced the stock bulbs with LED bulbs and they flash fast/don't work sequential anymore. Please help!

You probably need balast resistors on each segment of the lights to draw the right amps in order to get them to flash at the right speed. LEDs do not draw as much current as standard 3157 bulbs. My LED tail lights have two ballasts resistors installed on each one and they are not even sequential. I could probably fake it with some electrolytic capacitors but you'd have to experiment with the size then install one on each set of LEDs along with rectifier and possibly a resistor to bleed off the charge after each flash. Too complicated when you can probably get a kit some where for them. See if Americanmuscle has one.
