m112

I have a 99 v6 and I was looking to do more to it. I've asked around for a lot of opinions on different things, and yet, here's another.

Would an m112 work on my car, and if so, what do I all need to install it.

no i dont believe so. you would have to do a lot of fabricating. i believe that it is made for a 4.6 and only a 4.6 but i cant be positive.

well, would you be able to suggest anything? such as a supercharger? I'd rather not deal with a turbo system or a nos system.

Yeah, get a ProCharger. They come with an intercooler. a lot nicer than a vortec. you can get the complete setup for a very good price. just google it for your car. or go to www.rpmoutlet.com

search around on google these guys are making an intake manifold for the v6 that the m112 will work with. but you will have hood clearance issues. i guess its just another excuse to get a cowl hood

I know some1 that has a m112 on their v6 but he did a lot to make it work. Procharges are better IMO but heres a good deal on a vortech http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Vorte...QQcmdZViewItem

dude, if your looking under 2k. just hit buy it now. thats a hell of a deal. i personally dont like vortech. i prefer the intercooled procharger (intercooled perform A LOT BETTER), but for 1750, its not bad. The only thing with the v2sq is that its noisy as hell. I got a friend with one on is 03. it def works, but its very noisy.

"The S-trim head unit is and the SQ-trim head unit both use the same impeller and the same volute. The only difference lies in the gear case. The SQ-trim uses a helical style gear and is virtually silent. The S-trim unit uses a straight cut spur gear and has a pronounced gear whine at idle speeds. However, at driving speeds this charger produces a subtle near silent whistle."

So i have an s-trim, does that mean mines louder then the sq, or only louder then it at idle
