Going Drag racing.

Does my 01 3.8 with T5 have radiator overflow catch can, neutral safety switch, and reverse lock out?

Im so confused. Im sure it have the catch can because that what the overflow tank does. right?

Well im almost sure on the overflow tank. But when im moving my car wont go into 'R'

Meaning it doesnt go into reverse now? Or youre scared that itll hop into reverse while your speeding down the track? Which I have never seen or heard of before, but sounds like something sweet to watch....

No like in most sticks, you cant go into reverse if you're going forward.

Your car as all those things so you will pass inspection no problem

yes to all.. dont worry about them.. its not a racecar so you will only get just a regular tech inspection..

most any helmet will do for what you will be running. My snowmobile helmet works fine for me

This is different in all tracks. The one I race at in Texas, you dont need a helmet until you break a 13.9. The Speedway here in Las Vegas you need a helmet no matter what you run.

Then you should be set. I would wear one regardless but thats just me

even though you may be in a 14 sec car, the guy along side you could lose it and it you pretty hard. never know

Too true. But I'll most likely just get a few time slips and call it good. I dont know if i want to compete.

I would have to try to hard to out do and old friend. He once had the fastest street legal class car in Oklahoma. (Fox Mach 1)

SixShooter, where exactly are you from? Im guessing your from the Rio Grande Valley becuz you and I both know Edinburg International requires a helmet at 13.9 ET. ....and your location gives it away. lol.
