Exhaust install

alright i was thinking of installing just my long tube headers and off road h pipe and running with tjust that for a few days untill i order a catback, and recieve my catted h pipe. Will this damage my engine? Will it sound like shit or sound ok? Also i dont have ceramic coated headers, will this melt wires or cause any problems? Is there any difference in h pipe between a '97 and '99?

i wouldnt mind it being loud for a few days, i just wouldnt want to do any engine damage, would it sound terrible, or just loud? Also i mainly want to install it so that when i get the catback i will already have half of the exhaust installed so i can finish it all the night i get the catback.

it will sound like crap, i had to do it for a little while cause me and my dad had to put in the motor cause the people i bought it from blew the engine and couldnt get the exhaust back on till the next day because it was really late at night when we finished, drove it or about an hr and it sounded like crap
