throttle body
I cant seem to find a 65mm or 75 mm t.b. for my 96 sixer. i found this but it doesnt have a specified engine.

its the process of removing anything that will restrict airflow in your intake manifolds. Such as little grooves, burs, things that cause turbulence, or just act as a restriction, and also you are removing metal, and enlarging the runners to allow for more air.
