engine replacement

i have an international 345 V8 engine that has been sittin at my house for awhile. im wondering what it would take to make the engine compatable for my 95. im sure there is enough room in the engine compartment, i just need to know what all i would need to do to make this work, im willing to do some custom work as well

That would be a very poor choice, not only would it require a custom k-member and headers, need a transmission and a custom driveshaft, may have shifter location problems, and probably alot of other stuff too. In the end, you'll get much better performance and be alot less expensive if you went with a 302 or 351w.

Fair enough, but what does a rebuild kit for a 95 3.8L have to do with swapping in a 345 International V8?

Wouldn't the better question be, what does a 345 International V8 have to do with V6's?

Or maybe why would you even want to put a truck engine in a car?

Just thinking maybe the V8 would be a better question for the V8 forum where I am sure some people in the V8 forum have done a V6 to V8 swap. Most of us in the V6 forums seem to want to keep the V6.
